My Bio
I started our business in 2012 after I was made redundant from my job, while on maternity leave –and during this time I was also searching for stickers for my daughters new room.
I could not find any nice ones locally or even further afield, so my idea was born there. I started sourcing from overseas and importing from various suppliers.
Within 3 months I had turned my spare bedroom into a stock room, had a new website and was busy taking sales. Things snowballed so fast in the beginning that even typing it now, I can barely believe it ☺
Things started to grow pretty fast and soon the spare room wasn’t enough anymore; I also couldn’t grow due to the restrictions on space.
So in 2015 I moved into a fabulous new warehouse, where I have plenty of space! I was able to expand rapidly, buy in new stock and supplies and even have an office!
In 2015 I won an #SBS Theo Paphitis Award of Dragons Den fame – for recognition of our business.
I had also launched www.wallstickersforkids.co.uk in the same month.
My business was also a finalist in 2 categories in the 2015 Blacknight SME awards.
