Raven Botanicals is a luxurious natural skincare range that draws on a deep well of ancient knowledge to unlock the time-honoured alchemy of plants. Carefully sourced ingredients from the ancient Scottish land and coastline blend beautifully with the finest ethically sourced UK and worldwide plant extracts to create an unforgettable skincare experience.
My Bio
We’re sisters, based in rural Scotland, who have created a results-driven natural beauty brand that uses locally grown, uk sourced and ethically sourced worldwide plant-based ingredients.
Hours spent experimenting with natural ingredients as children evolved, over time, into a passion for skincare blended from natural extracts and oils. We grew up in a virtually self-sufficient household and began our early careers in botany and the arts.
Following the loss of our beautiful Mum in 2019, we decided to work together, using the plants she loved, to create a luxurious skincare brand that not only works but that embodies absolute care for the people who use it. Raven Botanicals finally took flight in July of 2020 and we are thrilled to be able to share our high-performance natural formulations with the world.

Don’t forget to plan. When you’re a small business owner it’s easy to spend all your time on operational tasks. We’ve had to be strict with ourselves and set planning time aside to make sure we’re not losing sight of the big picture.
Never stop learning: we have been on a colossal learning curve since deciding to transform our passion into a viable business and we’ve loved every single moment of it. We’re still learning every single day.
Connect with people who can support and advise you: other small business owners, mentors, economic development professionals… for us, the support of family and friends has also been invaluable and we’re so grateful for it!
Finally - love your customers. We try and get to know our buyers and we ourselves are accessible and communicative. We get a huge buzz helping people solve skincare issues or pairing them with their perfect products from our range. Our community of Ravens are just the best and we’re so grateful to them for all the positivity and support we’ve had to grow our small business.
