Emily's Weaving

I am Emily, a yarn-aholic located in Swindon, Wiltshire. I do work in IT in the week but my real passion is crafting, in particular Weaving, Spinning Yarn and Crochet. ​

I have created my business as not only a shop for all my handmade pieces but a place to talk about all things crafty. I am always buying yarn and now I have my own space to talk about it all.

Emily's Weaving began in 2017 when I saw a beautiful wall hanging but unfortunately it was out of my price range. Instead, I created my own loom made from a canvas frame and nails. I started posting on Instagram and shortly after my friends and family all wanted a weave for their homes. Since then my following has built up and i'm so grateful to be a part of the crafting community on Instagram. Since starting weaving I have also branched out into crochet. One of my most popular crochet items are my Face Scrubbies - reusable cotton pads for cleaning your face and removing makeup. Plus they are Eco friendly!

One of my proudest moments for Emily's Weaving has been working with Hobby Craft creating a "How to Weave - Beginners Guide" and a Weaving Techniques Guide.​
