Winning Small Business Sunday in April 2025 was a huge milestone for us at Monty Booch, and the journey since then has been nothing short of incredible.
Becoming part of the SBS family gave our business a major boost in confidence, visibility, and momentum. What started as a passion for crafting great-tasting kombucha has continued to grow, and the recognition we’ve received since our SBS win has been truly humbling.
Following our SBS 2025 win, we were proud to be awarded a two star for our Sir Christopher Berry at the Great Taste Award in July 2025, an achievement that means so much to us as a small, independent producer focused on quality, flavour, and craftsmanship. To have our kombucha recognised by such a respected judging panel was a real moment of validation for all the hard work that goes into every bottle.
We were also delighted to receive a Local Food and Drink Award, celebrating our place within the local MK food and drink community. This award reflects the support we’ve received from our customers and stockists, and it reinforces our commitment to producing kombucha we’re genuinely proud of.
SBS has played an important role in our growth, helping us reach new audiences and opening doors we might not otherwise have accessed. Being part of such a supportive small business community has been invaluable.
We’re incredibly grateful to Theo and the SBS team for the opportunity and continued support. Winning SBS in 2025 was just the beginning, and we’re excited to see where the journey takes us next.
