We’re delighted to announce that we’ve been named a Finalist in the British Data Awards 2022 for Analytics Company of the Year Award.

The British Data Awards is an annual campaign that sets out to uncover data success stories. Organisations taking part include FTSE 100 giants, public sector pioneers, technology unicorns, agile not-for-profits, and innovative start-ups among others. And with 158 nominations received, competition to be named a Finalist proved to be particularly tough this year.

Jason Johnson, Co-Founder of Predatech and British Data Awards judge said: “The standard of entries received this year has been particularly high, which has made judging a great privilege, but also a real challenge. All the Finalists should be incredibly proud of their achievements, and for helping to remind us of the sheer talent and ingenuity that makes the UK such a global powerhouse for all things data. I look forward to celebrating their successes on the 19th May.”

Dr Sophie Carr, founder of Bays Consulting told us: “We are absolutely thrilled to be named the finalist for British Data Awards. As a company committed to data analytics and statistics, it’s a great honour to be recognised among the best in our filed, and we are so grateful for the acknowledgement. We look forward to the awards ceremony and wish all the other finalists best of luck.”

A total of 19 categories are available this year, and these include sector specific awards such as ‘Financial Services Company of the Year’ and ‘AI Company of the Year’ as well as individual awards such as ‘Data Leader of the Year.’ ‘Data for Good Initiative of the Year’ proved to be the most popular category overall, closely followed by ‘Innovation of the Year’.

All winners will be announced at an awards ceremony in Mayfair London on the 19th May. Bays Consulting are looking forward to celebrating our success alongside great companies like Octopus Energy, Sainsbury’s, Kent County Council, Lloyds Banking Group and The Data Shed to name a few, and best of luck to all the finalists.
