Very excited to be part of the #SBS family and amongst such talented individuals!
I specialise in dried flowers, from dried flower bunches and bridal bouquets to buttonholes and flower crowns. What my clients love about this is they can order in advance of their Wedding Day which avoids any last-minute stress or disappointment. Our wedding flowers are always in season, no need to worry about if peonies are in bloom or if your favourite rose is available. I work mainly with pampas grass, dried flowers and on occasional silk flowers, however we are always working towards the sustainable option.
Winning this award only serves to re-enforce that my decision was the right one.
My Bio
So how did I get into floral design? After 20 years working in the Fashion Industry I decided to go it alone and took my hobby of making flower crowns into a small business. It wasn't long before the dried flowers followed. I'm a one woman band, I am incredibly meticulous and hold quality of product above everything.
My Business Tips
I would suggest that you just go for it. Don't wait until it's 'done'. This held me back for a long time. Always waiting for it to be perfect. There's no such thing. Business is always evolving so we are always moving forward. And always turn up as yourself, not the version that you think others want to see. Be the authentic you.
