Absolutely Clay

Making functional ware is my passion.

I am Juliet of Absolutely Clay and have been making ceramics in South Manchester since 2006.

In a society where we reflect on the objects that we surround ourselves with, I follows the ethos of William Morris; that my work be beautiful, used daily and be a joy to use.

Working mainly on the potter's wheel each one of my pieces is carefully crafted for quality. I work in stoneware to help ensure that my pottery is durable and lasting. My work often reflect the landscapes and Seasons of the UK. The spirals that you find in my work are a nod to my deep Celtic roots.
