On Thursday 29th June, Theo held the inaugural #SBS Small Business Sunday State of the Nation Roundtable – a working lunch afternoon supported by NatWest Business, and hosted by Coutts.

Theo was joined by 6 pioneering entrepreneurs from the #SBS network, all of whom were eager to share their takeaways and experiences on some of the trends, challenges and opportunities currently facing the 5.5 million SMEs in the UK that form the backbone of the UK economy.

From discussing how SMEs can navigate rising costs and the availability of finance to government support and AI, Theo and the #SBS businesses in attendance really got under the bonnet of small businesses in what turned out to be a riveting and insightful working lunch discussion.

In attendance was Chris Warbrick from Exceed EventsEleanor Tweddell from Another Door,  Keisha S. from Teddo PlayNadia Leguel from WagItSanjay Aggarwal from Spice Kitchen and Susan Bonnar from The British Craft House.

Theo will be working on the #SBS State of the Nation Roundtable report with the SBS Small Business Sunday Crew and sharing it in August.
