MY BUZZ

Solving Mealtime Struggles, Munchy Play stormed its way into the market in June 2020, helping to transform toddler mealtimes. The game-changing tableware is designed by a mum, to bring little ones to the table... and keep them there. It's all about making dining more enjoyable and less of a battlefield. If you have a preschooler, you know! The range was nominated for ‘Best Children’s Tableware Design’ in the Junior Design Awards, and features on Amazon's Launchpad programme for 'the brightest start-ups'. Made in Britain, Munchy Play children's plates come in three fab designs now available on ETSY and Amazon, check us out at www.munchyplay.com

MY BIO

Sophia Procter is the founder and CEO of Munchy Play®, the first-ever children’s plate with a built-in track for toys. Solving mealtime struggles, the British-made tableware is designed for toddlers, infants and ‘fussy eaters’. The idea was inspired by her toddler son, who would only come to the table with his favourite toys. Prior to spinning plates, Sophia was an award-winning PR, spinning news at a major airline. She was also part of the team that made Red Bull a household name.

MY BUSINESS TIPS

*HAVE A GREAT NETWORK: Family, friends and others in small businesses that you can share your woes with. This is important for wellbeing, as well as business growth and support. * INVEST IN YOUR BUSINESS: Advertising, PR and SEO are all part of the digital landscape we find ourselves in. It's important to take the time to invest in these and monitor analysis and trends. *LEVEL UP: Attend webinars, join groups, get in front of other business leaders and learn from them. For instance, Theo Paphitis is hosting a webinar with Natwest for Small Business, which is very worth signing up for. *MAKE THE MOST OF FREE TOOLS: There's a lot of great resources out there if you look for them. SBS by Theo is just one of them. Another is the Amazon Accelerator Programme in partnership with Enterprise Network. This has been a useful tool for growth and best of all, it's free!
