Hi! I’m Jemma, I am the owner of bookonahook. In January 2020, bookonahookco started as a side-project alongside my teaching career, the business really took off in the Summer of 2020 and it became my full-time job.

We make and sell handmade miniature books and vinyls in a variety of different styles such as; earrings, key rings, necklaces and more. These feature lots of favourites including Alice In Wonderland, Harry Potter and Taylor Swift! We have made over 3,000 orders, lots of them for authors, and have even been featured on the Instagram page of Bernadine Evaristo (author of Girl, Woman, Other).

All products are handmade and can replicate any book of choice. This year, we have extended the business by showcasing some brand new products, including tote bags and magnetic bookmarks!

Alongside online sales, we have attended many street fairs and markets, locally and further afield, including Frome Cheese Show, Bath Christmas Market and Stratford's Waterside Market. Recently, bookonahookco took part in the South-West Regional Finals of The Young Traders Market competition in the grounds of Exeter Cathedral where we were awarded 'Highly Commended' in our category and given a place in the national final.

bookonahook follows an environmentally friendly ethos. each order is packaged with the environment in mind. we try our best to avoid plastic and use materials which can be easily recycled! we use recycled cardboard and paper to keep your order safe and secure without the need for plastic bags or packets. we even reuse all our wasted paper and cardboard and shred this for future use.
