My Buzz
IVA PLANTS is an independent tea company based in West London. Our range includes herbal blends and black teas. We use only natural ingredients and do not add flavourings or other artificial components. All blends are created by us and packed by hand in the UK.
Our black tea is sourced directly from a tea farm in Sri Lanka. The herbs and other ingredients for our herbal blends come from trusted suppliers within the UK.
Our teas are based on family recipes. Each batch is blended in small volumes to keep the product fresh and consistent.
My Bio
I’m Alexandra Ghemu, founder of IVA PLANTS, a tea company based in West London. My journey with herbs began long before the business. It was shaped by childhood memories of my grandmother working with plants and a home that was always full of green life.
With a background in the arts and photography, I bring a personal touch to everything I do. I source the ingredients, develop the blends and design the packaging myself. Respect for nature and a love for herbal traditions are at the core of my work.
Since launching IVA PLANTS in 2024, I’ve focused on growing steadily and meaningfully. I introduce my teas through local markets, trade shows and independent retailers. In 2025, my Sleep Well tea was awarded one star by Great Taste and also received a Bronze at the Farm Shop & Deli Awards. These recognitions mean a lot to me as an independent producer.

Before starting and registering your business, check if the name is available across social media platforms and as a domain. And most importantly, register your trademark early. It saves a lot of trouble later.
