My Bio
Hey there! I’m Anja, the colourful individual behind Notch (plus one very fluffy sidekick).
I’m a Scarborough-based designer who’s all about creating bold, playful, and personality-packed branding for small businesses. Notch came to life because I needed a rebrand for my own art business, and quickly realised there weren’t many local options for affordable, fun design that didn’t come from a big agency. So, I created the thing I was looking for.
With a background in events, marketing, and running a small creative business, I threw myself into research, learning, and connecting with other small businesses. After a few months of planning and upskilling, I officially launched Notch, and in May 2024, I took the leap to go fully self-employed.
Whether you’re starting from scratch or need a refresh, I design everything from logos and websites to print materials and social media templates. I also love bringing a playful touch through custom illustrations that can give your brand something truly unique.
My Business Tips
