3 Years Later …

Just a little blog to express how happy I am to be part of this wonderful #sbs family. I won my award back in August 2011 when I had only been trading for a few months and I had only been trying for the elusive retweet for a few weeks. I didn't for one minute think I would win and it wasn't until my lovely friend Karen from Village Green Soaps text me late on the Sunday evening (as Theo originally used to pick the winners on Sundays) that I realised what had happened! My twitter feed was off the hook for days! I couldn't believe how many new followers I gained and what lovely people I met!! I even managed, eventually, to get an article in the local paper about my win!

Now three years later the business is going from strength to strength. I still have a full-time job, but now I'm busy most evenings and weekends but have got the business running at a level which suits my lifestyle. I thoroughly enjoy attending craft, vintage and shabby chic fairs to showcase my homewares, my website www.bellaandthemoo.com is still working for me, though does need a thorough overhaul and I also receive lots of sales through both twitter and facebook.  I couldn't be happier and the icing on the cake is now being part of this lovely #sbs family and showing off my badge proudly to friends and customers! I also feel very priviledged to have been able to attend all three of the #SBS events and have also seen them grow from strength to strength and grow into the wonderful occasion which last Friday was!

So, all in all, thank you so much to Mr Theo Paphitis for his retween for Bella and the Moo back in August 2011. x
