Having just celebrated my first 6 months running my Virtual Assistant business I was over the moon to find out that I had been announced as a winner!
It has been a rollercoaster few months for me after deciding to leave the 'safety net' of employment that I had been in for over 23 years. I wanted to be able to work more flexibly around my children and I love admin work so setting up as a Virtual Assistant seemed an obvious choice.
I have learnt so much over the past 6 months, more than I would have ever learnt if I had stayed in employment. I enjoy working with the clients I have gained so far. I love the variety of work I undertake and I love the freedom I now have.
Being announced as a winner on SBS was definitely the highlight of my business journey. I feel I have come so far already and I am looking forward to an exciting journey ahead.
