About Us
Local e Sourced brings together Herefordshire's independent local businesses and products on a single platform, creating a unique shopping experience within an online marketplace celebrating, showcasing and promoting locally sourced products nationally. Local e Sourced is designed to help improve presence, aligning both the suppliers’ online and offline worlds.
Local e Sourced was started to change customers buying habits and to create more focus on supporting local, not having to rely so heavily on large global businesses based overseas, creating huge carbon footprints. Our aim was to create a buy British, buy local mentality and reduce our environment impact.
Our Values
Shop local, support local perfectly summarises our values. Everyone should be encouraged to shop local and support local – Local e Sourced has made this easy. The website compliments an existing online presence (not competing with it) as products will still get sold and perhaps more than usual as Local e Sourced heavily promotes, celebrates and showcases everything Herefordshire has to offer.
Our core values are to protect and support local businesses. Preserve our local communities, create local jobs and reduce the impact on the environment. Challenge the buying habits of consumers to focus locally and to buy British.
Our Aims & Objectives
The aim of Local e Sourced is to compete with supermarkets and global ecommerce giants. By shopping with Local e Sourced, you are minimising the need to import food leaving a huge carbon footprint. Instead, you are supporting small, independent suppliers. By shopping local, we are keeping a significant amount of money within the area, that will help grow local businesses, create jobs, improve tourism and generally improve the quality of life in the local community.
I want to get more people shopping and supporting local businesses. Local e Sourced makes this even easier. More products in one place with a single delivery charge, less delivery vehicles in the air and on the roads.
