Boogie Beat’s Superhero Extravaganza: A Week of Joy, Community & Giving Back

From the 27th of April to the 1st of May 2026, Boogie Beat proudly hosted our Superhero Xtravaganza: an inspiring, fun-filled fundraising event in support of Action for Children. Now in our second year supporting the charity, this special week continues to grow in impact, and it was once again a privilege to raise awareness for such an incredible charity while bringing our community together.

Across the UK, Boogie Beat franchisees fully embraced the superhero spirit. Dressed in capes and wearing their Action for Children T-shirts, they led sessions packed with energy, imagination, and purpose. With collecting tins at the ready, families were invited to contribute while enjoying the magic of Boogie Beat.

Children were encouraged to take part even before arriving at sessions by downloading and decorating their very own superhero masks. These were proudly worn in class, adding an extra layer of excitement, and each purchase from the Boogie Beat shop raised money for the charity and gave children the chance to enter a prize draw to win Boogie Beat goodies.

Throughout the week, our sessions were transformed into heroic adventures. From parent and child classes to early years workshops in nurseries and preschools, and even our heart warming intergenerational sessions in care homes, the atmosphere was electric.

There were smiles everywhere as children and grown-ups alike:

  • Wore superhero capes and masks
  • Helped pull a rocket from the moon
  • Sang space and super hero nursery rhymes
  • Warmed up like superheroes
  • Enjoyed parachute games and bubble-filled fun

It was a true celebration of imagination, movement, and connection.

One of the highlights of the week came from Northampton, where our wonderful franchisee Sharon welcomed Banita, our Relationship Manager from Action for Children, to her Boogie Beat sessions.

Sharon shared:

“It was such a pleasure to welcome Banita from Action for Children to some of my Boogie Beat nursery workshops during our charity week! Banita travelled all the way from Luton to Northampton and was blown away by the energy, excitement, and joy in the room.”

The children were thrilled to meet her, especially noticing how the star from the Action for Children logo matched perfectly with their Twinkle Twinkle star and moon-themed activities.

Banita didn’t just watch, she joined in! Wearing a cape, she helped pull the rocket from the moon, sang along, danced, and got involved in parachute play as Action for Children balloons bounced through the air.

“It was such a lovely visit, and Banita was so pleased to see how Boogie Beat helps raise both awareness and funds for Action for Children. She handed out stickers to the children, who were thrilled.”

After a chat and a small photoshoot in the park, Banita left full of smiles, sharing how much she loved the Boogie Beat energy and how excited she was to visit again.

We are so thrilled to announce that our total so far is £509! we are incredibly proud of what we’ve achieved together.

This has truly been a fulfilling and fun-filled week for everyone involved. A huge thank you to every family, child, and supporter who donated or took part. Your generosity makes a real difference.

We’re already looking ahead to our next fundraising plans later this year and we can’t wait to bring you along for the journey.
