Dorset Seafood Festival – our Marshmallows and Nougat were very popular!

We are tired, but happy, after a great weekend  0n 11 & 12 July at the  Dorset Seafood Festival!

Our Nougat and Marshmallows were even more popular than last year and we sold out of several varieties, despite our attempts to make plenty in readiness.

It really was a good weekend, even though it rained on and off on Sunday, and I sincerely hope that it raised a lot of money for The Fisherman’s Mission.    Fishing is the most dangerous peacetime occupation, so I’m told, and the huge range of seafood dishes available at this popular Dorset festival helped to highlight something that we often take for granted – the men and women who work so hard to provide us with delicious, fresh seafood.

Our most popular Marshmallows this weekend were Belgian Chocolate and Salted Caramel, and our most popular Nougat varieties were Pistachio & Almond, and Salted Caramel. (This one’s so delicious that I keep cutting extra sample pieces for myself!)
