I felt a bit apprehensive about going to the #SBS event on the 30th January 2015 as it was the first time I had attended but as you were allowed to bring a +1, I brought my husband Gary along for morale support and I'm so glad I went.

Everyone was so welcoming and friendly and it really did feel like I belonged to this wonderful family of like minded people, all striving to make their small business the best it can be.

Meeting people that I had chatted to on facebook and twitter was amazing, I felt like I had know them for ever. We all shook hands and kissed like long lost relatives, exchanging ideas and business cards.

The speeches and presentations were full of positivity and left me feeling like I could tackle anything in the business world.

We left feeling like we were walking on air and ready to make lots of sales after listening the panel talking about their success stories. It just shows that if you are passionate and hard working, anyone can make it in the big wide world.

Now I can't wait for next year's #SBS event to meet some more "Winners" and make some more friends!
