I was thrilled to win #SBS in September 2014 but I have to admit even though I took part in the Facebook Group and the #SBSWinnersHour on Twitter, I didn't really get the enormity of winning until I attended the #SBS event on Friday. What a moment for me – here I was in a room full of fellow winners and amazing business owners and I too had been recognised by Theo Paphitis. It was a real pinch me moment! I saw familiar faces and those who I have met via social media as well as chatting to some lovely people with possible future collaborations for my vintage hen party business. Hearing Theo talk about plans for #SBS, seeing that The Sun had run a story on it and then the unveiling of the new website – got me super excited for the future of this fantastic #SBS community! Through the Twitter chats on the day, I even discovered another #SBS winner who lives just up the road from me – so we now have coffee booked in!
From hearing the inspirational stories of the panel to having my photo taken with Mr P himself and then the fabulous goodie bags – it's something I won't forget in a long while and a future date for my diary!
