#SBS winner Tania Gerard launches the Accessible Marketing Institute

Being named a Theo Paphitis #SBS winner this month was a real moment for me, and I’m excited to share what’s next.

I’m launching the Accessible Marketing Institute (AMI), which helps businesses create marketing that works for everyone.

One in four people in the UK are disabled, yet most of us were never taught how to make our websites, social posts, emails and adverts work for them. That means a lot of small businesses are missing out on customers without realising it. Accessibility is for everyone: captions help when you’re scrolling with the sound off, clear wording helps when you’re busy, and a website that’s easy to use helps every customer.

AMI has two parts:

The Accessible Marketing Charter: free to sign, with ten simple promises, a badge for your website and a place on our public wall of signatories.

The AMI Cohort: a six-week live online training programme, run on Thursdays, leading to certification. It’s open to anyone who creates marketing, whether you’re a sole trader, a small team or an agency.

AMI opens in 2027. If you’d like to be one of the first to know when places open, join the waitlist at www.accessiblemarketinginstitute.co.uk

If you run an agency, you can sign the Charter now as one of our 100 Founding Signatories: https://forms.gle/ap3NWYN2a8mbVZBn8

Thank you to Theo and the whole #SBS community for the support. I’d love to help fellow winners make their marketing work for everyone.
