RED-Scue is officially a finalist for Young Entrepreneur of the Year at the South West regional final of the UK Startup Awards 2026!
We are so proud to be recognised – it’s a testament to our mission of building the first energy bar to specifically help underfuelling and overtraining.
RED-Scue began as a name:
Rescue x RED-S (Relative Energy Deficiency in Sport).
The mission has always been to find a better fuelling solution to the overtraining/underfuelling injury and burnout cycle – for every age, gender, and ability.
From tearing my Achilles as a Spanish national athlete 4 years ago due to underfuelling and overtraining, experiencing RED-S, and navigating the healthcare system and the challenges of fuelling and overexertion in a society that constantly asks for more – to now.
Building the energy bar I needed: gut-friendly, nutritious, and without leaving me feeling nauseous before, during, or after training, work, and daily life. Months of testing, building, and creating something we’ve seen our entire community benefit from and love.
A win would take us to the national final at Ideas Fest this September, on the biggest stage for UK entrepreneurs.
