Our Founders...

Started in 2004 by husband and wife team Phil & Louise, we're a family business supporting family life. It began as a little business to boost their household income, but with several little additions to the family, they had to make the business a little larger too! Initially based in the small village of Little Staughton in Bedfordshire, they delivered leaflets in the village and gained a few customers to get going.

Louise was the chief ironer and quality control officer, Phil was the delivery man, website guy and marketeer. A great team! Fast forward a couple of years and they'd delivered 100,000+ leaflets, expanded to cover most of Bedfordshire, recruited a team of ironers and won awards!

Of course, there's a whole lot more to the story than this. Like all small businesses, they've had their ups and downs - it was (and still is) stressful - and they're still amazed how the business has scaled. Now, almost 20 years later, they're still going strong. Louise has stepped back from running the business day-to-day and entrusts this to the management team, who are as passionate about it as she is. Phil, meanwhile, still loves to drive merrily around in his van collecting ironing. You might meet him if you use our service in the Cambridge area - he sometimes wears his "Ironing Man" t-shirt!

The story so far...
We now manage a team of passionate ironers, drivers and regional managers who service their customers with the same attention to detail we set out with when we started. Our plans for the future are to expand our coverage, via our network of ironing agents, so we can reach every part of the UK. It's a tall order, but we're committed to growing All Ironed Out into the most recognisable ironing service brand in the UK.

Of course, none of this would have been possible without the loyalty of our wonderful customers. We put our customers at the very heart of our business - after all, we're entrusted with thousands of items of clothing every week, so we have a responsibility to deliver the very best service every time.

Louise and Phil have met some great people along the way - pictured below at a couple of award ceremonies. However, it's their customers who are the ones they enjoy meeting the most. After all, without them, All Ironed Out would have ceased to be many years ago.
