ArtyPax specialises in nature inspired paint your own ceramic kits, pottery painting party kits & artwork. Founded in 2016 by wildlife biologist turned artist Rachel J.
Each ceramic piece is made from high quality earthenware bisque ceramic, hand cast & kiln fired in the UK. All kits contain 100% recyclable & recycled plastic products, is delivered in 100% recyclable packaging & uses FSC certified sustainable paper products. Creative kits celebrating nature that give nature a helping hand along the way.
The ceramics can be painted with acrylic paints (available to purchase separately), with your own craft materials or with glazes if you have access to a kiln. Each kit is available with or without a paint set & can be made for adults or kids. With included instructions & ceramic care guide the possibilities are endless.
For abilities of all levels, beginners or experienced crafters looking for a challenge, ArtyPax's ceramics offer a creative outlet whilst adding a unique feature to your home.
If you don't fancy painting it yourself I also offer hand painted ceramics & for an extra unique touch you can commission a piece too.

In 2023 ArtyPax has also been nominated for the Luxlife Magazine Luxury Gift Award (fingers crossed for the results soon) & in May 2023 became a winner of Theo Paphitis' Small Business Sunday award.
My Bio
Hi, I'm Rachel J. I'm a wildlife biologist (graduating from Anglia Ruskin, Cambridge) and now turned artist. I have a long background in wildlife & nature, attending Moreton Morrell agricultural college to study Countryside Management before my degree. I also spent many years working in local country parks helping to manage & conserve the natural environment.
Since childhood I've always been creative in my hobbies. From painting & drawing to sculpting & modelling. I now combine my creativity & natural world knowledge to deliver nature inspired ceramics & artwork. Celebrating the wonders of nature through art.
Outside my business I continue to paint, draw & sculpt. As well as exploring the countryside (or more commonly my garden) like Attenborough, fossil hunting (when I can) like Anning & spending time with my family.

- Paint Your Own Ceramics: Available as an unpainted pottery figure only or with paints & brushes. Available for adults & children. Hand cast earthenware ceramics made in the UK, that can be painted with acrylic paints, used with your own craft materials or used with glazes & kiln fired.
- Gift Wrapping: Sending a gift to someone extra special? Select gift wrapping on your order & each ceramic will be carefully hand wrapped in luxurious deep purple tissue paper, tied with a satin purple & metallic gold ArtyPax exclusive ribbon & finished off with a golden wax seal, featuring a majestic fox design. Gift wrapping is on each order rather than each item, so you can have a box of goodies wrapped in glory for the same one off cost.
- Commissions: Looking for a statement piece that's one of a kind? A selection of large ceramic figures & statues are available on my website. You can personalise it to your chosen colour & pattern preference. Simply add your chosen piece to your basket, note any colour & design preferences in the personalisation box & I do the rest with my trusty paintbrushes. Using a traditional dry brushing technique to add depth & layers of colour unachievable with other techniques. Plus if you cant see something you like or you're looking for something specific, get in touch & I'll work with you to find your perfect statement piece.
- Corporate Kits: If you're looking for new & different ways to bond & engage your team then my business/corporate kits are perfect for you. Each team member receives a ceramic figure to paint (of your choosing) as well as paints & brushes. Delivery can be arranged to a centralised office or to individual team members homes if remote working. Past customers have used my kits for team building gnome painting competitions & group speed painting contests. Whatever your team size & budget I can tailor a free quotation to you, simply get in touch. - Pottery Painting Party Kits: Add a touch of creativity to any party or gathering. Perfect for birthday parties, milestone occasions, weddings or a gathering of friends (pop that Prosecco!). Each painter receives a ceramic piece to paint, paints, paintbrushes & mixing plates, everything required to create something special. There are a range of themed party kits, for adults & children, to choose from, or I can tailor a party kit to your needs. Ordering couldn't be easier.
