We are Blacker Yarns, a British yarn brand specialising in breed-specific wool products. Our British wool yarns are all spun in our mill in Cornwall. We produce a large variety of different bases in beautiful and contemporary colour palettes. Our pure wool knitting yarns and crochet yarns are available in different weights including Double Knitting, Aran & Chunky, Lace & 3ply and 4ply. We offer  a wide selection from every day classics, providing great value for money, to rare and luxury wool varieties.

We source our fibre from British farmers and other UK businesses, as locally as we possible can. We are passionate about working with and creating quality products that are made to last, knowing that the farmers have taken the utmost care of their animals, and enabling us to make the best knitting and crochet yarns possible, to give our customers the opportunity to use 100% natural and unique types of wool.
