My Bio
Hi! I'm Lauren and I'm the owner of Cosy Felt Creations. I make hand-sewn decorations and gifts from felt to make your home feel cosy whatever the occasion. As well as being the owner of Cosy Felt Creations, I'm a creative person, copywriter, keen baker, blogger and Criminology and Psychology graduate.
If I could describe Cosy Felt Creations in three words it would be cosy (obviously), bright and fun. I sell a mix of bunting, hanging decorations and bookmarks, all of which are hand-sewn by myself. Some of my designs include 90s bunting, cute Christmas character bunting, sloth decorations, and a beach hut bookmark.
My bunting is great for a variety of occasions from birthday parties to anniversaries, weddings, Christmas, Halloween, and Easter. I can also do custom orders to make it that bit more special! Not only do my decorations look lovely hanging up around your home, but they also make great gifts for people of all ages.
My Business Tips
1. Schedule your social media posts. Scheduling your social media posts once a week is a great idea and saves lots of time.
2. Know your audience! A lot of my Etsy customers are from the US so I make things for occasions they celebrate such as Thanksgiving and they are always a hit.
3. Take a day off. When you work from home, it's easy to work beyond normal working hours and over the weekend without realising. Make sure you to a day off to recharge so you can wake up fresh with new ideas.
