From the Wilde

"From the Wilde’ is the brain child of Helen Wilde, who lives in a little Derbyshire village with her husband, a beagle called Bunty and a house rabbit called Pan. Helen Launched her online emporium ‘From the Wilde’ in July 2010.

Until ‘From the Wilde’ was born in July 2010, Helen was working for Europes largest art publishing house as a fine art dealer and running one of their galleries. After a rather nasty health scare Helen decided that she needed to move out of the city and go back to the countryside to the place she had always loved. Helen hung up the suit, bought herself some wellies, got married, bought a dog and created ‘From the Wilde’ – Helen had always been passionate about contemporary design and British craft, and having a Ceramics degree she had always wanted her own gallery..."

From the Wilde now offers an eclectic collection of some of the most exciting and contemporary designer makers, artists and illustrators from the UK and carefully chosen international artists. These collections are for people with a love of the city, country and the coast, for all of us who aren’t lucky enough to live there but are lucky enough to own a piece "From the Wilde"...
