My Buzz

The aim of Green Earth Learning is to use nature as a tool to help us connect children to their world. We offer outdoor learning programmes following the Forest School principles in schools and the community as well as educational resources to support learning through play.

Play is at the heart of everything we do. If we 'Play' in, with and around nature we begin to 'Learn' about it. With this knowledge we can then 'Connect' to it and begin to make positive changes to our world.

Come and join us outdoors!

My Bio

I have been a primary school teacher since 2002. During that time I have led many curriculum areas but in 2010 I was lucky enough to participate in an Outdoor Environmental Education course run through Linköping University in Sweden. To this day, it is still the best CPD I ever had. It changed everything for me and having seen first hand the benefit of the Scandinavian approach, I was able to bring some elements in to my teaching back home.

It was in 2017 I took the full leap into the outdoors and trained as a Level 3 Forest School Leader and set up Green Earth Learning. I'm now in a privileged position to see first hand the impact being in the outdoors can have on our young people and the environment in which they play.

In 2019, my sister Tasha came on board and we came up with the idea of our disc bags and Tree Keepers®️. We are always looking to develop new ideas to expand the range and everything we do will be inspired by nature and the idea of play. The environment is very important to us and, although we are not perfect, we are trying hard to reduce our impact through the choices we make for our products and packaging.
