I do. And increasingly, so does the small team I am building around me.
I am Gemma, founder of Hunter Admin, a Business Operations Specialist working with SME founders who are growing fast and stretched too thin. My job is to spot exactly where the business has come to depend on you too much, then build the structure and dedicated support that lets it hold without you carrying it all.

I started Hunter Admin because I kept seeing capable, driven founders doing everything themselves because they had not yet found someone they truly trusted to step in.
I understand the weight of that. Building a business is personal. Handing any part of it over takes real trust.
I am a Business Operations Specialist based in Littlehampton, West Sussex, and a member of Worthing Chamber of Commerce. I work with SME founders across the UK who need more than task management. They need someone who thinks, protects, and shows up consistently, backed by a small team who deliver to the same standard.

Try running a one-week delegation audit.
Every time you do a task this week, pause for two seconds and ask yourself one question: could someone else do this if I had written down how? Keep a running tally, yes or no, you don't need anything more detailed than that.
By Friday, look at the list. Most founders are surprised by how many "no" answers come from tasks that genuinely could be a "yes," if the process behind them had ever actually been written down.
That is the gap in most businesses. It is rarely that nobody else is capable. It is that nothing has been documented well enough to hand over.
Pick the task with the most "no" answers and write down exactly how you do it, step by step, as if explaining it to someone who has never seen it before. That one document is usually the first real step toward getting it off your plate for good.
