My Buzz

#SBS has increased my business profile in a matter of hours. I have more followers on twitter and lots of opportunties have opened up within the first hour of business this morning. I feel very privileged and blessed to have won #SBS and am looking forward to being in and playing my part in the #SBS community.

My Bio

A country girl with a city twist. Started working at 14 and has never looked back. Wanted to run my own business at 16, was trained by the Post Office instead, before going back to school and off to University in Plymouth where I gained a degree in HR and Business, but funnily enough went straight into Finance & Admin instead. I have always loved handmade and home-made, often known as fiddly fingers in the family and like to get things done. As well as running Kinch Print, I manage a property portfolio and love a good building and interior design project.

I set up KinchPrint in 2008 as a small family business and love what we do. As a small business owner, I like to be involved in the local community and help where I can; and it's true to say you don't have to be big to be beautifully branded. I am part of the Chester & Wrexham Federation of Small Businesses Committee and run the social media side, as well as help to organise social and business events

I am a wife and mother of a two pets and love spending quality time with family and friends, as well as exploring more of wonderful North Wales that I returned to 8 years ago after many years in the city by the sea.

My Business Tips

Keep it real and be yourself; Go with your instincts and do not be afraid to make mistakes; Keep a close eye on costs and value what you do, no one else can do what you do, just the way you do it. People in businesses big and small like to be treated like humans and treated well, treat them as you would like to be treated yourself, if not better!
