My Buzz
My name is Laura Edmunds and I am a beach clean artist based in Plymouth. I clean beaches with the help of my family and collect sea glass, pottery and beach rubbish. Using as much bright colour as possible I create landscapes, birds, flowers and trees which can be found in independent shops and galleries in Devon, Cornwall, Somerset and Gloucestershire as well as on my British Craft House shop online.
My aim is to bring joy to people through the use of colour whilst simultaneously promoting a conversation about the ocean and the state of our beaches.
My Bio
Making art and cleaning beaches was my therapy after suffering from pnd. After seventeen years of working as a primary school teacherI began to sell my pictures which has become my full time job. I love to bring colour and cheerfulness to people through my work as well as highlighting how much rubbish can be found on local beaches.
