Welcome to Nina D, where art becomes part of everyday living.
I'm Nina Daniels, a Swedish-born artist and founder of Nina D Luxury Homeware, now based in Cheshire. Every collection begins as a hand-painted illustration in my studio before being transformed into beautifully crafted tableware and home accessories.
Growing up in Sweden, I was surrounded by nature, timeless architecture and a culture where gathering around the table is a cherished part of everyday life. Those memories continue to inspire every design, with each collection named after a person, place or story close to my heart.
From handcrafted placemats and serving trays to linen tableware and home accessories, every piece is thoughtfully made using high-quality, sustainable materials by skilled European makers. My aim is to create products that are both beautiful and practical—designed to be enjoyed for years and to become part of your own family traditions.
Today, Nina D has been featured in leading interiors publications, and luxury hotels, while remaining true to the values on which the business was founded: craftsmanship, originality and meaningful design.
Alongside our retail collections, Nina D partners with a select number of retailers, interior designers, luxury hospitality venues and heritage organisations through our wholesale offering.
My Bio
A Scandi table set for inspiration
I'm Nina Daniels, a Swedish-born artist, illustrator and founder of NINA D Luxury Homeware, based in Altrincham, Cheshire. Every collection begins as a hand-painted illustration in my studio before being transformed into beautifully crafted tableware and home accessories.
I founded NINA D in 2020, inspired by my Scandinavian upbringing and the simple joy of gathering around a beautifully set table. Every collection is named after a person, place or memory close to my heart in Sweden, transforming personal stories into timeless designs for the home.
Before launching NINA D, I studied Theatre Design at Wimbledon School of Art before building a career in luxury retail with Burberry, Asprey and De Beers. Designing retail environments and window concepts for an international audience taught me how colour, texture and storytelling can create memorable experiences—principles that continue to shape my artwork today.
Every design is painted entirely by hand using watercolour on carefully selected paper. I have always chosen to preserve the authenticity of each brushstroke rather than relying on digital effects, building depth through delicate layers of colour and texture. Working with skilled manufacturers across the UK and Europe allows every detail of the original artwork to be faithfully reproduced using premium, sustainably sourced materials.
What began as a small collection of placemats and coasters has evolved into a luxury homeware collection including serving trays, table linen and home accessories. Alongside our retail collections, NINA D partners with a select number of retailers, interior designers, luxury hospitality venues and heritage organisations, while also creating bespoke hand-illustrated designs for exclusive projects.
As the business has grown, I've come to realise that the true inspiration behind NINA D has always been my Swedish family traditions. Setting the table was never simply about preparing for a meal; it was about creating a welcoming space where conversation, celebration and togetherness could flourish. That philosophy continues to inspire every collection I create.
