Helping parents, schools and play therapists to support children's mental health and well-being with educational and fun resources.  By developing social emotional literacy skills helps to build on confidence, self esteem, better coping skills and an improved mental health attitude.

Children learn so much through play and it has been so lovely to receive all the wonderful reviews showing how much the 'Nurture Gnomes' are helping in supporting them work through and navigate their emotions.

My Bio

I am a wife and proud mum to two now adult sons (the youngest of whom is autistic), a children's author and art teacher.  When my children began school (all those years ago)! I supported a young, autistic child in nursery and enjoyed it so much that this started my passion of working with children with additional needs - working in Early Years for 13 years progressing to a Post 16 Alternative Provision.

I have worked in SEND education now for over 23 years and over the years have also studied and attained several Diplomas which include Advanced SEND Teaching, Advanced Counselling, Psychology, Art Therapy and a recent course in Children and Young People's Mental Health.

During a short break from teaching, I co-facilitated an autism parenting course for a charity and worked on developing a school transition booklet for them, which I thoroughly enjoyed. Last year I was asked to go back to the college on a part time basis, and this also gives me time to support families with autistic children and work on developing my business.
