My Buzz
The name Oscar & Patch comes from our founder’s first-born son, Oscar, and his faithful dog, Patch. Together they remain our muses and brand mascots, always close to our hearts. This charming, instantly recognisable emblem speaks to the very origins of our English house.
According to legend, the name Oscar & Patch was first whispered across the Cornish countryside. Locals, captivated by Oscar’s proper yet eclectic English look and Patch loyally by his side, would often ask their names. With a smile, the founder would reply, “This is Oscar, and this is Patch.” The response was always the same: “Ah yes, Oscar & Patch.” And so, the name was born.
From private customers in Land’s End to New York, and even, once upon a time, a little prince—the story of Oscar & Patch has quietly travelled. Today, we invite the world to share in it too. Welcome to our family.
My Bio
From humble beginnings in the cathedral city of Truro, Cornwall, Oscar & Patch has grown to grace elegant homes and families worldwide with its traditional British style. We are an independently owned British luxury brand, inspired by a modern vintage aesthetic. Our collections span childrenswear, womenswear, homeware and interiors, bringing a refined, contemporary edge to the timeless balance between town and country.
Founded by Lisa Baker, BA (Hons), a dyslexic-thinking mother of two, British interior designer and stylist, the brand reflects her distinguished career in interiors as lead designer at her own practice, Lisa Baker Design Studio, and in fashion, which began under the late Dame Vivienne Westwood. This foundation led to collaborations with esteemed fashion houses, international luxury brands, members of the Royal Family, and prominent public figures. Lisa’s work as a designer and stylist deepened her passion for heritage craft and timeless design, while her love of nostalgia and history, shaped by the great English practitioners and ateliers, continues to define the aesthetic at the heart of Oscar & Patch today.
We have made it our mission to collaborate with only the very best of the country's finest makers, with an unwavering commitment to British manufacturing, some of which hold royal warrants. We take social responsibility seriously, and we care greatly about the lives of the individuals engaged in the making and manufacture of our products. We set out with a simple mission.
To design and create products that are useful and beautiful, and benefit others. Good for people, communities, customers, and the planet. We do this by manufacturing most of our products right here in the UK with only a small portion of our raw material supply chains based outside of the United Kingdom and best in class. And by doing so we aim to sustain and create skilled jobs and help to restore local economic prosperity and pride.

Our interior design service is led by our sister practice, Lisa Baker Design Studio, renowned for creating a distinctive and playful style. Drawing inspiration from the great English practitioners and with a deep appreciation for historical interiors across every period, we bring a fresh, modern sensibility to every scheme.
The initial consultation is complimentary. Following this, a £450 per room fee is required for our Interior Design 1-2-1 consultations—an innovative service designed for clients seeking guidance with smaller-scale projects or specific interior design challenges.
By combining an intuitive use of colour, pattern, and classic detail with bold contemporary elements where appropriate, we ensure each space feels perfectly attuned to both the client and the architecture, whether a cherished family home or a refined second residence.
Our process begins with a one-hour video call and a detailed review of your plans. From there, your dedicated designer will prepare a tailored presentation, including elevations, mood boards, and a curated shopping list. They can recommend antiques, bespoke pieces, and new designs, sourcing from both Oscar & Patch and beyond to ensure every choice reflects your style, needs, and space perfectly.
