I'm convinced that being an #SBS winner is helping business, together with 3 times winner of the Deliciouslyorkshire Confectionery Award. Incredibly busy already leading up to Christmas. FarmShops/Delis/Corporate/Hampers - give me a buzz :)

Woot woot! I am THRILLED to announce that for the THIRD year running I am the winner of the Deliciouslyorkshire Confectionery Award! The Awards celebrate the best food related businesses across Yorkshire & Humberside. They're blind judged by food writers, Michelin chefs, industry specialists and are hosted by Nigel Bardon from Radio 2. Even more delighted to announce that in the 8 years they have been running, I am the ONLY business to have won THREE times. Very very proud :) x

Extremely excited as it is the glamorous and prestigious Deliciouslyorkshire Awards Ceremony on Thursday night. It's where the great and good of the region earn well deserved recognition. I've been short listed again, and have won the Confectionery Award for the last 2 years. Fingers crossed for 3 in a row....

Still getting new followers courtesy of the fab #SBS. My news is that I will be talking about my unique take on chocolate at the Cake & Bake Show at Earls Court tomorrow (6.30pm). I've also been shortlisted for the Deliciouslyorkshire Confectionery Award for the third year (I've won it for the last 2!)

6 days on and I am still basking in the glow of my #SBS win. We have so many exciting plans, products and gifting solutions for our business...I wonder if Theo could magic up a few more hours in the day please too?

Early days but what a wonderfully exciting way to start any working week. 100s of supporting messages from well wishers and scores of new followers. Makes all the hours and hours of hard work, perfectionism, obsession well worth while. Thank you so much Theo and to you all. Fi x

My Bio

Three times winner of the Deliciouslyorkshire Confectionery Award, I am exceptionally proud of the little empire that I started back in April 2009. It was a germ of an idea hand-crafting exquisite artisan chocolates from the seasonal flavours that I see around me, drawing my inspiration from my early family life in rural Warwickshire. I source from gardens, hedgerows, country estates and local growers to create my ganaches and only use the finest natural ingredients, including real flowers. Two years ago, my hubby joined me too; I do the creating and he keeps the wheels of the business turning, and growing. Our four children also help with the business... we're awfully proud of them too! This year we launched our ice-cream range and are already getting fantastic feedback on our flavours. We've also just started our chocolate bar range where we keep to our rule of all-natural ingredients.
