Right now I'm growing Virtually Lucy beyond social media management into full VA support for parent-led brands and neurodivergent business owners, and I've just launched a dedicated VA service for dental practices, drawing on my years as a trained dental nurse before I made the leap into VA work.
My Bio
Lucy Howell is the founder of Virtually Lucy, a UK-based virtual assistant and social media management business supporting parent-led brands and small business owners. After 12+ years in admin, clerical and management roles, including time as a dental nurse, Lucy left her job during the first Covid lockdown to build Virtually Lucy from scratch. Five years on, she offers social media management, podcast management, inbox and admin support, and content strategy, with a particular focus on working alongside neurodivergent clients through accountability buddying and organisation support. Lucy is a two-time VA of the Year finalist and a winner of Theo Paphitis's Small Business Sunday.
My Business Tips
Don't try to be everywhere at once. Pick the one or two platforms your audience actually uses and do those properly before you add more. And sort out the boring systems early, onboarding, invoicing, content batching, because that's what actually buys you the time to do the work you got into business for in the first place.
