Angels' Share Glass has caught the eye of luxury department store Harvey Nichols.

Gifts created by the Stirling-based family firm have made it onto the shelves of the retailer’s flagship Knightsbridge store – just in time for Christmas.

The deal is a major achievement for the award-winning company which creates whisky-related glassware.

Karen Somerville, Managing Director at Angels’ Share Glass said:

“One of the Harvey Nichols buyers spotted our products and got in touch after being impressed by our premium luxury brand. Some years ago, when I wrote my business plan, one of my goals was to have a high-end department store place an order with us so I’m delighted to have achieved that especially with such an iconic retailer as Harvey Nichols. I’m planning a trip to London just before Christmas to see our products on their shelves and that will be a very proud moment for me.”

Harvey Nichols will sell the popular sets of Angels’ Share Glass coloured Christmas baubles – filled with four regional malt whiskies from Douglas Laing & Co – which flew off the shelves following their launch last year.

Their customers will also be able to buy Angels’ Share Glass Gin Pigs – which contain 50ml of Scottish gin – and the firm’s unique whisky water droppers featuring a thistle.

Bryan Rodriguez, Assistant Spirits Buyer at Harvey Nichols, said:

‘’Angels’ Share Glass products are unique, highly giftable and will offer our Harvey Nichols customers something special this Christmas. There’s no doubt the quality of the baubles are exceptional, from the handmade lustred glass to the Douglas Laing & Co Whisky filled within, they’re a premium gift that we know our customers will love. We are certain the Gin Pig will also be a popular gift this Christmas – individually handmade, no two are the same, making each one unique.’’

The Angels’ Share Glass range are available to buy in Harvey Nichols Knightsbridge store and online from mid-October.

Angels’ Share Glass is based in Bridge of Allan, near Stirling and was established by Master Glassmaker Tom Young MBE and his daughter Karen Somerville in 2013.
