Social media

An estimated 84% of B2B marketers use social media so if you’re one of the 16% who don’t, it’s time to take the plunge! Even if you utilise social media marketing, it’s likely you are doing it all wrong. It’s common for small businesses to try and use as many social media networks as possible which means trying to keep tabs on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest etc.

Your best bet is to choose one or two (preferably Facebook and Twitter) and begin building your brand there. Rather than having a scant presence on five or six sites, focus on joining discussions, posting content and joining a community on one or two networks. This makes it easier to keep your social media marketing efforts consistent and helpful to your target audience
