North West IT support experts Amshire are looking forward to further expansion as they celebrate 21 years in Business.
Cheadle Hulme based Amshire have achieved regular growth and established a reputation as a trusted partner to businesses in the Stockport area and beyond. Established by Trevor Taylor in early 1995, Amshire began trading from a small office with three members of staff.
While the business has grown to employ 14 people, from offices on the Stanley Green Business Park, Amshire is still very much a family business. Dave Taylor, son of founder, Trevor, took over the Managing Director’s reins in 2015 and there are three other family members involved in the business.
“While we are a cutting edge technology company we pride ourselves on good old fashioned values of high quality customer service,” said Dave. “We are proud to have customers on our books who were with Amshire at the start.
“Our systems engineers have almost 100 years of experience between them and Amshire is committed to a continual programme of professional development. We are accredited Microsoft Partners across a range of IT disciplines.
“Amshire has consistently grown over the past 21 years and are anticipating further expansion in 2016.”
Management Consultants Brammer Dixon were among Amshire’s first customers in 1995 and have retained Amshire as an IT partner ever since. Tony Brammer, of Cheadle, Cheshire, said: “Back in 1995, computers were much different and it was very difficult for lay people to understand what was needed. We were fortunate to work with Amshire and they have supported Brammer Dixon ever since.
“Amshire are very responsive to customer needs. As the world of IT has developed, Amshire has developed with it, but they have still kept that all important personal touch and an ability to communicate effectively with their clients.”
Expansion means that Amshire now has customers with offices throughout the UK but the business is fiercely committed to its Stockport roots and plays a leading role in the Marketing Stockport group.
