At Distinctively Me, we believe every woman deserves to have clothes that suit you and fit you whatever your shape, age or size. We understand the frustration you experience shopping all day and finding nothing that fits. That's why we believe our made to measure clothes are the answer. We have taken a different approach to made to measure and design for the female body, in fabrics that feel great and make the experience feel like a spa day rather than something to be intimated by. And our prices are surprisingly affordable. Nothing makes us feel better than seeing our customer's smiles and their new found confidence when they get to wear their perfectly fitting clothes
My Bio
After working in the corporate world for 30 years, I was made redundant out of the blue. Failing to find the perfect black trouser suit to give me the confidence to face finding another job, I realised there was a gap in the market. I launched Distinctively Me in 2016 and it has given me a new lease of life! I am learning every day having never started a business from scratch. It is scary and exciting in equal measure, but the pleasure in seeing the smile on our customers faces and watching them stand tall with confidence makes every day a joy.

My top three business tips are:
Understand who your customer is and stay focused on delivering value for them
Build your fan base - customers, team, supporters, advisers, referrers
Keep it simple - don't try and do everything, do the things the matter. Be prepared to say no
