My Bio
EllaJo Studio is the creative practice of artist, illustrator and designer Ella Camlibel.
I create original artwork, prints and greeting cards inspired by nature, travel, women, world textiles, pattern and storytelling. Alongside my own collections, I collaborate with brands and businesses on bespoke illustration, print design, surface pattern and creative projects.
With over 15 years of industry experience, I have worked across fashion, print and product development, creating collections for global retailers including H&M and Next. My background spans everything from fashion textiles and print design to product development and creative direction.
Today, EllaJo Studio brings together everything I love most: colour, nature, travel, craftsmanship and visual storytelling. Whether I'm painting, illustrating, designing a print collection or developing artwork for a client, I'm always looking for ways to create work that feels joyful, distinctive and full of character.
I am a Castlefield Gallery Associate and am currently developing a new body of large scale paintings alongside my commercial studio practice.
