My Buzz

At Esteem the biggest buzz for me is when I see the confidence, the smile and the true self belief come back to the eyes of my client. Hair loss is a traumatic event for most and when I see this return then I know I've done a great job and delivered the most natural solution.

One of Esteem's main purposes is to innovate in the wig/hair replacement market.... I just love it and it's working, watch this space in the coming months.

It's an old and fantastic industry which I am now part of and there is lots to do to make it a even better one.

My Bio

I’m a newly emerging London based Hair Loss Expert and Image Consultant, providing for the first-time, a truly holistic approach to hair loss. Drawing on my own personal 30-year hair loss journey I have been able to tailor a business to meet the practical and emotional needs of women, men and children experiencing hair loss through Alopecia, Cancer, the effects of chemotherapy treatment and other hair loss conditions.

As Esteem’s Founder, I’ve been able to design an innovative 3-step process, which mirrors the journey many hair loss sufferers go through, offers a supportive framework to help guide and inform and bring about a confident solution for clients. Esteem’s wrap-around and comprehensive packages include a wide range of hair replacements systems and wigs, as well as beauty, skincare, health and well-being all underpinned by specialist disciplines from dermatology, trichology, oncology, psychotherapies and nutritional therapy. All packages can be accessed from our central London studio or clients can request a home consultation during what can be an extremely vulnerable time.

In setting up Esteem in 2013, I have fulfilled a life long ambition to establish a business to support those experiencing hair loss; temporary or permanently, with the aim of short cutting the journey of recovery and positively influencing the clients ability to better cope and face their condition, whilst achieving a truly natural look.

My role of lead consultant is pivotal, my professional background in client management has lent itself to setting up new service levels and experiences for clients, and hopefully will help to raise the bar across the industry, this combined with my empathy and trust enables me to build long term relationships with clients as well as my extensive knowledge and experience across hair, beauty and well being – all of which is means we are part of the moving and shaking in London’s hair replacement sector, and to prove it we have recently secured NHS accreditation for Wig Supply in London for the next four years and we are a member of the HBSA. (Hair Beauty Suppliers Association)

I help guide and advise the client through the practical challenges and the emotional aspects of losing hair and then able to bring to the fore the most complementary products and services.

As you can see I am passionate about this subject. I care deeply for the people who have to deal with hair loss of any kind and I know that Esteem can improve their personal experience. Esteem is the place where there is no question you can’t ask, no thought you need to keep to yourself – and someone who really knows, to help and guide you through the myriad of choices.

Prior to Esteem, I trained with the Chartered Institute of Marketing and worked in marketing and sales management across a range of industry sectors; working within an agency environment, publishing and professional services, but since the launch of Esteem I have continued to train and support my passion for hair loss with complimentary and practical skills.

I have trained with the UK’s leading hair distributor ‘Aderans” and trained in custom-made hair replacement systems and I am able to offer bespoke designs and styles, with one key difference, all Esteem’s custom-made systems are made in the UK. Keeping up with the latest innovations in replacement system is incredibly important and in the last year I have created an integration team capable of delivering, small to full head integrations in a completely new way, innovating through the use of products and expertise.

Over the past year I have forged a range of key partnerships all of which compliment and support issues around hair loss. I am working closely with the board of Alopecia UK, supporting their strategic goals, and collaborating with one of the largest London hospices - St Christopher’s in SE London.

Recently, I have trained to deliver beauty facials to clients to support skincare maintenance and relaxation, and have gone on to extend this further by offering “oncology facials”, designed for patients going through chemotherapy, accredited by Jennifer Young, Beauty Despite Cancer.

I am now looking to the future and proceeds towards training to become a consultant Trichologist.
