My Buzz
Being chosen as one of Theo Paphitis' Small Business Sunday winners was one of my proudest moments in business. I set the business up on a shoestring back in January 2010 and therefore to receive this recognition was an amazing honour.
My Bio
My name is Kim and I'm a married mum with two beautiful daughters. I set up Hats my Baby, an online baby boutique back in January 2010 whilst on maternity leave following the birth of my first daughter. When shopping for baby hat for a family wedding I was left disappointed by what the High Street had to offer and from there the idea for Hats my Baby was born. My amazing children were and still are the inspiration for the business and although I've grown the business up slowly I'm so proud of how much I've achieved and how far the business has come in two years.
My Business Tips
First of all believe, not only in your business, but also in yourself! I had no previous business experience and I've been on a very steep learning curve but every day I overcome a new challenge and learn something new. Be prepared to work hard but if you're passionate about what you do, seeing your business grow is an amazing reward for that hard work.
