54 year old ex I.T. Project manager, turned baker.
After being made redundant I finally took the plunge and followed my dream of running my own food business. I spent 6 months researching the market to find an unfulfilled niche, then developed a product i.e. a filled and sealed flatbread that was both innovative but above all delicious.
In the 7 years since I started I now have a range of over 20 different filled flatbreads, including vegetarian, vegan, Gluten Free and dairy free and am always coming up with new flavours.
I sell at local farmers markets, food festivals, cafe’s, deli’s and since lockdown last year I also do weekly online orders and delivery.
