The Curious Pancake

After studying and gaining a first class degree in Illustration at Loughborough University School of Art and Design, I set up my studio as a freelance illustrator in Nottingham. Several years of freelance illustration later saw me ready for a fresh challenge. I attended a trade fair for inspiration but found myself quite disappointed with the selection of talent on display. Later, on my way home it dawned on me that I knew lots of much more creative and talented card makers, jewellery designers and artist/makers and so began the journey to set up The Curious Pancake, where I was able to bring these beautiful items to people who wanted something more than the ordinary.
