I thought my phone was going to explode when I got my #sbs retweet from Theo. I'd been trying for months and was set to give up but I now have hundreds of new twitter followers and am part of a brilliant network of dynamic people.
I worked in glossy magazines for nine years with my last job as Assistant Publisher of Cosmopolitan Magazine before I resigned and went back to University to do an MBA at Cranfield School of Management. After this I got a job at dunnhumby who run Tesco Clubcard and was their Senior Client Director running the Northern sales teams with clients such as Mars, Kellogs and PZ Cussons. In 2009 I got pregnant and moved to Nottingham to start a family with my new husband and invented BuggyTug buggy wrist strap whilst on maternity leave. BuggyTug is now available in Asda, Boots, John Lewis plus loads of other smart retailers and my latest launch TugTrio which is three buggy straps is on sale now too. I'm also working on 3 other products so watch this space!
Break every job down in to as many small jobs as you can - nothing seems as daunting then and it's much easier to get started.
You know when you hit your first big hurdle whether you are doing the right thing with your business- if it's wrong you'll want to quit and subsequently will, if it's right you think you are mad not to quit but don't!
