After 20+ years working in the financial service sector as a senior change and technology manager I decided it was time to branch out on my own, and rather than go down the conventional route of contracting and consulting I wanted to do something that leveraged my own passion for shooting and fieldsports.

Firsthand experience of the gun trade and sporting agencies had shown me what goes on behind the scenes in the commercial side of fieldsports, and often there is a great deal of co-ordination and logistics across many different parties that at the same time is strictly controlled from a licensing perspective.

The idea was then developed to offer a service that could take all the headache and hassle away and provide clients with a single point of contact for solving any issues relating to the enjoyment of fieldsports - taking away the all the headache and leaving clients with precious time in hand and in a relaxed state so that they maximise their enjoyment.

It was from hear that Orion Sporting Services - The Fieldsports Concierge was born.
